TOUR OVERVIEW
There hasn’t been anything like this for the Wheelchair Basketball Community of Australia!

Aimed at athletes in wheelchair basketball from all over Australia aspiring to go to college in the USA, Aussie Basketball Travellers in partnership with Basketball NSW is proud to offer two amazing opportunities to visit the founding locations of wheelchair basketball by participating in two incredible live-in basketball camps.

This is your chance to visit the most famous Wheelchair Basketball institutions in the world including the University of Illinois and The University of Alabama. You will have the chance to learn from the best in wheelchair basketball while also getting a first-hand look at what life is like on these amazing campuses.

THE SCHEDULE (exact format once camp dates released)
The tour will feature two amazing live-in camps at the University of Alabama and the University of Illinois.

The University of Alabama live in camp will enable athletes to see some of the best wheelchair basketball facilities in the world in addition to developing their skills and being exposed to a region of the country with deep roots in wheelchair basketball. 

UofI is the founding place of wheelchair basketball and alma-mater to hundreds of world-class athletes. This camp is where players will be able to further hone their skills and learn from some of the world’s best coaches.

In addition to spending over 40 hours on court, participants will be offered multiple opportunities for sightseeing including a stop in amazing Los Angeles on the way home, and of course Disneyland!

$6850* - final price to be determined based on total number of participants. Subject to change with flight prices and forex rates.

TYPES OF TOURS
Tour targets athletes aged 14 years to 24 years. Tour includes campus and academic tours the day prior to camp. Please see across for an expanded look on specific tour and register below for more information and to be contacted by our team.

PHYSIO, COACHING AND SPORTS SCIENCE DEVELOPMENT
Professional development for coaches, physiotherapists, and sports scientists is also available. Get first-hand experience at two universities that are at the forefront of coach development and academically acclaimed athlete services.
