With an amazing array of close connections including former BVIC High-Performance Director Coach Czepil, and Coach Jones (who toured with us while at St Marys), our commitment to you is to help you organise a cost-effective tour that serves as a memorable experience for you and the UCR MBB Program.

Aussie Basketball Travellers put you in the driver’s seat allowing you to control the aspects of your tour that are important to you allowing your team to utilise its time down under to build chemistry, enjoy the beautiful sights and most importantly set yourself up for an amazing season.

ABT Basketball will be contracted to organise and/or supply the following:

TRAVEL

• All group airfares including airline fees and taxes

• Official group ground transport/ Airport transfers via coach/bus charters + Coach transfer to/from all airports, games and sightseeing opportunities while in Australia

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION

Three - Four & a half star hotel accommodation for three nights in Sydney CBD and Melbourne

• close proximity to attractions such as Opera House, Harbour Bridge & The Rocks

• easy walking distance of world class restaurants

Three - Four & a half star hotel accommodation for three nights in Cairns

BASKETBALL

• 5 games scheduled against NBL (where possible)/NBL1/Centre of Excellence Australia/NBA Global Academy

• Sanctioning requirements through Australian national and state federations as required

• Facility and equipment usage for practice sessions throughout the tour

SIGHTSEEING / ACTIVITIES

SYDNEY

• A guided tour of downtown Sydney taking in Bondi Beach, Darling Harbour, Hyde Park, Circular Quay, the Sydney Opera House and the historic Rocks precinct

• Entry to Sydney Tower, Sydney Wildlife Zoo & Sydney Aquarium

• Tickets to a Sydney Harbour Cruise.

MELBOURNE

• Eureka Tower

• AFL Game Tickets

• Moonlit Animal Sanctuary - Get up close with our koalas, kangaroos.

CAIRNS

A Tailored Tour Experience

Daily Schedule

On game days, control when you eat pregame meals, what activities the team participate in and when you have preparation/down time before the tip.

Choice of competition

Aussie Basketball Travellers have access to teams of all levels from professional to youth club teams across Australia.  Depending on your needs we can schedule games vs professional teams, elite semi-professional teams heading into the playoffs or elite youth teams (All-State, Australian Junior Teams, etc) where you can compete against potential future recruits.

Access to Recruits

Whether it be a game scheduled against an elite youth team, introductions to youth coaches across the country or an elite youth game played prior to your scheduled game ABT can assist you in building recruiting networks while on tour in ‘Down Under’

Hotel Options

We work with a range of hotels across Australia, we have options to suit all quality, location and budget specific needs. ABT work with you to find the right hotel at each stop for your bedding configuration and other requirements.

On Ground Tour Support

Travelling in a foreign country can be difficult, Australia is a laid-back, relaxed, English speaking country so getting by each day is not a major issue. But having somebody who can help with local knowledge on where is the best place to grab coffee, shop for souvenirs and even find a good doctor (touch wood, its not required) our Aussie staff will take care of you.

We supply your team with an Australian mobile phone and Wi-Fi hotspot to make sure your never more than a phone call or email away from family, friends and all of ABT’s staff.

Initial Deposit ($500) No Refund - Unless due to Covid-19*
More than 120 days prior to departure 20% of the total cost is Non-Refundable
76-120 days prior to departure 45% of the total cost is Non-Refundable
61-75 days prior to departure 75% of the total cost is Non-Refundable
Less than 61 days prior to group's departure No Refund

*All cancellations must be notified to AAT / ABT in writing (email) and will be confirmed by AAT / ABT within 65 days of notice
*Any and all ”Change Of Mind” refund request will adhere to the "Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC)" consumer guarantees
